Nick & Lizzie's English Countryside Wedding - Part Two

January 30th, 2012

Action photos, ripped trousers, personalised tea bags, funny speeches, dancefloor antics, a sparkler heart night-time shot.. you want it? This wedding's got it!

We had such a lovely amount of time with Nick and Lizzie for their location shots and we're so glad they gave us time to shoot them - they looked gorgeous and as happy as ever and they had a laugh together the whole time!

**side note** We can't tell you enough how much we love getting some time in the wedding day to shoot the couple and their bridal party. You don't have to be away from your guests for hours, but giving us a little section of your day will allow us to get the most creative photos and you'll have time to relax into it all. It's also the best way to show off your style and all the little details you added to make everything be more unique to you. We want it to be a really fun part of your day.. and hopefully these photos will encourage you to go for it!

Nick & Lizzie's English Countryside Wedding - Part One

Where to begin with this wedding! We've been hiding it away since September (how did we not burst with excitement?!) but all for good reason, the fabulous Rock My Wedding featured it here and so we held off until they had done so. But now it's our turn.. and oh are you in for a treat!

Not only were there plenty of gorgeous details, like the pretty printed b'maids dresses, Lizzie's stunning backless dress, the handsome navy-tailed suits and in part two you'll see a vintage touch with the reception decor, but there was so much more to the day.

Nick and Lizzie both emphasised how important the church service would be, and it was made even more special by Nick's grandad marrying them (and even stealing a sneaky kiss off the bride and whooping in delight!) Lizzie's sister was also the best pregnant bridesmaid we've ever met! She was due a week before the wedding, but baby wasn't in any rush to say hello to the world, so she looked absolutely glamorous all day long with a baby bump as her accessory - the most amazing ending was that she went into labour the very next day and had a beautiful little girl called Beatrice.

Part one is full of laughs (and you should know by now that laughing is our absolute favourite!) and I think I should stop talking now to let you get on with the all important looking! Go on.. click below and enjoy!

Stephen & Nicola Murray's Wedding Day

This was our penultimate wedding of 2011 and what a lovely day it was to be a part of. The wedding wasn't starting until 3pm so we had an awesome amount of time to photo the getting ready part at Nicola's house. It was all hustle and bustle with the girls getting their hair and makeup down while her dad kept himself busy like any man knows he should on these wedding days! Nicola and Stephen's little girl Anna and her cousin Eva kept us on our toes with all their energetic fun and giggles, you'll see their sweet little faces poking out from everywhere in this blog post! There were lots of little details that kept getting us excited when we found them, like the shoes.. oh the shoes! Even Nicola's mum had some killer heels to set off her outfit, and we can't forget the 'Weddington Boots' - if only it had actually snowed to get the use of them!

The whole day was being held at the cosy Malone House, perfectly decorated for the Christmas feel. Friends and family made the day so special and fun from the speeches to the dancefloor, but you'll soon see all that for yourself if you click below..
