Calendar of the Year

Weedy drove a car with fire flames up the side to school every day, and although that car is no more (sob sob), this photo will remind us of it for years to come!

Alison has been known to have very buggy blue eyes, so even without these trendy gleeks she looks like a true lady bug!

Boydy is a die hard for gaming,
or so the boys have informed us, especially Call of Duty. This photo shows him in full action of his love for the game!

Allen/Slug is a true farmer at heart.. look how well he rounds up his sheep! The 365 sprayed onto the sheep signifies Slug's lifestyle of searching for his perfect girl 24/7, 365 days of the year.

Ricky is a bit of a gentleman, and his love for tweed is evident as he turns up to any event, no matter what the dress code, wearing his trusty tweed jacket. His pipe, monocle and walking stick are never far behind. Top Notch!

Paul, the jock, is known to have some cave man tendacies.. although i'm not convinced this dalmatian cloth really does a lot for his manly personality. He does do cave man dancing in the mud very well though, HU-HA!

Christine - Me - The future is bright, the future is Orange. This photo does not do justice to the size of my hair this day!

Yamika - The Birthday Boy himself. Doesn't own any un-labelled clothing. Loves Jack Wills clothes range the most. He does pull off the look pretty well though, so we'll let him carry on his pricey lifestyle in style.

Kerry - used to have an email address with kerrbear in it. Well, why not when it rhymes so well with your name? She looks as though she is having the time of her life skipping through this field!

Erin - our own personal Steve Erwin. She is in her last year of her geography degree, and we so hope she goes on to live up to being the person she is in this photo!

Xander did an amazing job of taking these photographs, Yamika, Alison and I had a blast being creative directors! These photos surpass my expectations of what the calendar was going to turn out like - the photos below are just a few extras that couldn't be left out of the mix.

We hope you understand this was obviously a bit of fun and for Yamika's calendar, so some of the editing techniques are over the top dramatic to make them even more silly than they already are!

Any favourites among this fun bunch of photos?!

haha thanks angie! they make us smile so much, it was obviously just a bit of fun and for a laugh for yamika but it's pretty cool how well they turned out!
kerry's mum knows someone from work who had the carebear costume, soo handy!
and oh yes, my mum has already decided she would like this idea for her birthday, but we'd love to do this for others as well! thanks for the encouragement, we really appreciate it!

I just love looking at these photos Christine!! Big question: Where did you get the huge Care Bear costume??!

Perhaps offering more calendar shoots for the new year might be a good idea? I'm sure a group of friends or a family would love something like this as a keepsake!
