After a nice drive down to Co.Cavan later, we arrived at the stunning reception venue of Cabra Castle. It was so christmassy with all it's golden twinkle lights both inside and out and there were plenty of welcoming fires to stand by as you munched on your reindeer shortbread and enjoyed some mulled wine - perfect for a chilly december wedding!

There was a prop box and a polaroid camera for guests to take silly snaps with and stick in the guest book along with a message plus some tasty treats in jars to keep everyone sweet. Gemma's sister also had a tree designed onto paper where guests used colourful ink to make a thumb print (which looked like leaves on the tree) and it was another memorable keep sake of everyone who attened their day.

The title of this blog post says it all, Declan and Gemma have got serious style and it shone through their whole day. I think it's fair to say this was my favourite wedding seeing what Xander shot with the boys in the morning, between Declan's dad fixing up an awesome blue Morris Minor for them to drive on the day and the groom himself doning a bow tie and braces, they produced some really fun photos.

Gemma was chilled from the word go, and she and the girls had fun getting ready together, and as the hair and makeup started I just knew they were going to look so glamorous! They had thought about every little detail possible and it made for an easy peasy morning, and Gemma looked completely stunning.

We can't believe 2011 is over... it absolutely flew by but it was AMAZING! Maybe sometime soon we will post a little look back over the past year with some of our favourite photos, but for now here is a little preview from our very last wedding of two thousand and eleven. 

Marc and Keri's new years eve wedding couldn't have been a better ending for us, it was full of sparkle, laughter and they had a whole bunch of fun loving people to join them in the celebrations. We can't wait to show more from their day.

Nicola and Stephen got married and we couldn't have asked for a nicer penultimate wedding of 2011 to be involved in! Together with their gorgeous little girl Anna they had a beautiful day and we can't wait to show you more very soon.. (and just you wait until you see all their shoes!)

Declan and Gemma got married last Monday and they couldn't have looked any more stylish, more happy or more awesome as they drove off to their reception in his dad's old Morris Minor.
